Chambers, head of the Project Engineering department of Robertishaw-Fulton Controls Co., as president for the new term starting in April at their regular dinner meeting recently. Other officers elected were: James M. Lepper, vice president; Harold J. Johnsen, program chairman; Robert D. Dickey, secretary; William C. Jones, treasurer; John Harbour, sargeant-at-arms; R.A. Damerell, retiring president, as deputy governor; Guy Tester, parliamentarian, and C.O. Garshwiler, publicity chairman. Dr. L.E. Christensen was topic master leading a discussion on McCarthy and subversive problems. The club voted unanimously upon the motion of R.A. Hermann for a vote of confidence to C.O. Garshwiler for his work on the school advisory committee which is working with the local school board on a review of school books. Speaker Britt Gray won the weekly trophy cup for his speech entitled "Can You Dream Too Much?" Other speakers included R.J. Allen telling how "It Might Be Me", C.J. Stillson telling of "Things That Count" and William Chambers reminding that "Where There is Smoke There is Fire." They were introduced by Toastmaster R.H. Allen. Head Evaluator Walter Knott was assisted by a panel composed of R.A. Hermann, John Harbour, Marion Pickel, and Herb Scott. William Bittles was timekeeper for the evening. R. J. Allen telling how "It Might Be Me", C. J. Stillson telling of "Things That Count" and William Chambers reminding that "Where There is Smoke There is Fire." They were introduced by Toastmaster R. H.
