PARTY HONORS TRAVELER Mrs. John Brooks of 1934 Hillview Rd., gave a luncheon party on Thursday to honor Mrs. Doug Hill Graham of Long Beach who has recently returned from a world cruise. The luncheon table was exotic with an arrangement of tropical leaves as 22 friends of the honored guest gathered for luncheon. Following luncheon, the afternoon was devoted to bridge and canasta. Common problems were fully discussed. Mrs. Clyde Donton presided at the meeting which saw the following officers installed in office for the coming year by Mrs. John Henry, council president; Mrs. William Fackiner, president; Mrs. Robert Rees, recording secretary; Mrs. Louis Sandoval, corresponding secretary; Mrs. O. W. Waide, treasurer; Mrs. Clyde Dunton, parliamentarian; and Miss Sarah Hull, auditor. An Easter program of song and dance was presented by the children of Mrs. Hennings' and Mrs. Van Hoorebeke's 3rd and 4th grades. An Easter egg tree centered the table during the tea hour which followed. Presiding at the tea and coffee urns were Mrs. Fackiner and Mrs. Dunton. New Officers at Ben Franklin PTA Presentation of the new executive officers of Benjamin Franklin PTA for installation was made by Mrs. Arthur Korn who explained the Oaktree emblems and what it represents.
