H. Smith, District Federation Extension chairman described her recent trip to Europe at the April luncheon meeting of the Anaheim Ebell society last week. Mrs. Charles Bush presides at the meeting and paid special honor to the past presidents who were present. Special guest was Mrs. Herbert Nelson of Orange district garden chairman. Special emphasis was given the annual Ebell flower show which is to be held on April 22 and 23. Mr. Norman Lombard, general chairman of the show, outlined the plans which are being made and invited members to participate. The traditional May breakfast for members was set for May 5, at the clubhouse. Entertainment will include a humorous skit by members, and a demonstration by Ra Howell, Santa Ana handwriting expert. Chairmen are to be Mrs. R. H. Beckler, Mrs. Harry Spotty, and Mrs. Fred Larson. During the formal business session, a memorium was held for the late Mrs. J. P. Wilson. Progress chairman, Mrs. George La Follette, introduced well-known radio commentator and lecturer, Marjorie Sharpe, who discussed notable books and auctions in a most entertaining fashion. Luncheon chairmen for the meeting were Mrs. George Kohl enberger and Mrs. Joe Kuska Decorations were done by Mrs. B. Ives and Mrs. Emma Karlen.
