Wildcat in Los Angeles Motorama BUICK'S new Wildcat "dream" car will make its West Coast debut at the General Motors Motorama in the Pan Pacific Auditorium in Los Angeles beginning March 6. The car, built of fiberglass features flying-wing type front fenders that flare straight out from the body with the underside exposed. Powered by a 220-horsepower Bulck V-8 engine, the Wildcat is mounted on a 100-inch wheelbase and has an overall length of 170.9 inches. Buick designers hail it as the first American sports car with stylishly free of the European influence. S.S. Official in Fullerton Wed. M. Pettis of Fullerton, acted as program chairman for the Wednesday, March 10 meeting of the Orange County Personnel and Industrial Relations group. The program featured a discussion of the "Medical Management and Visual Screening in Industrial Plants." Mr. W. R. Randall, who is the Industrial Vision Representative of Bausch and Lomb Optical Company for the Pacific Division was the guest speaker. The semi-monthly noon lunch con was held at Knott's Berry Farm Steak-house. Professional personnel people in Orange County are always invited to attend. Red Cross Chapters Council Meeting The Long Beach Council of Red Cross Chapters of Long Beach and Orange County met on Tuesday at the Chapter house with Mrs. R. L. Taylor of Long Beach presiding. The morning was devoted to discovering the needs of hospitals in the various areas. Among those trading information were representatives from chapters in Orange, Alhambra, Fullerton, Santa Ana, Arcadia, Long Beach, Whittier, Pasadena, San Gabriel and Los Angeles as well as Anaheim. Official representatives from Anaheim were Mrs. E. H. Kersten, Mrs. Harry Spotts, and Miss Frieda Janss. Also attending the meeting were William H. Budd, field representative from the Pacific area and Ronald A. Colier, a visitor from that area. Air Flight Heroine Married Here Sat. Miss Patricia Grinva, heroine of of the September 8, 1953 crash-landing of the North-West Airlines "Constellation" at McChord Air Force base in Washington, was married on Saturday, March 4 at Capilla de San Antonio. Miss Grinva became the bride of Raymond M. Chaseldine, Jr., son of Col. and Mrs. R. M. Chesldine of Fullerton, with the Rev. Frank Butterworth, officiating. The new Mrs. Cheseldine was hostess on the ill-fated plane which crashed and burned in 1953. She helped passengers to safety before jumping clear of the plane herself. "HAVE A HEART" TAG DAY FOR VOLUNTEERS OF AMER. The Volunteers of America will conduct their annual "Have A Heart" tag day in Anaheim on Saturday, March 13, when local children will sell heart tags to help raise funds for destitute mothers with children and other unfortunates in care of the organization. H will celebrate their twenty wedding anniversary on Sunday March 14. They will hold open houses their friends that afternoon the family home at 542 S. street. Mrs. Licha Goyn Mrs. Licha Goyn, 75, a Iowaian in California for ten years and in Anaheim for seven early Thursday morning, 11 at an Orange hospital after prolonged illness. She is survived by her husbands Charles R. Goyn; one daughter Mary Paul Behnke of Los Angeles one grand-daughter Miss Behnke and two sisters; Mrs en Smith and Mrs Marie both of Colorado.
