Kirkwood, State Controller, today reported General Fund cash and bonds in the treasury, excluding revenue restricted to a specific purpose, was $82,600,-374 as compared with $105,562,307 at the end of the previous month, and $98,121,553 on Jan. 31, 1953. Kirkwood pointed out that January is usually a low revenue month which partially accounts for decrease of $22,961,933 under December 31, 1953. Of this decrease, $22,986,238 represents the excess of January, 1954, governmental cost expenditures over unrestricted revenue, to which is added $10,244,680 in non-governmental cost expenditures. The total of these amounts is reduced by $10,268,985 in non-revenue receipts to arrive at the current decrease. LEGAL NOTICES (Pub.
