NOTICE OF ELECTION IN STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the qualified electors of the Stanton County Water District in the County of Orange, State of California, that a special election will be held in said district on January 26, 1964, pursuant to and in accordance with the following resolution, which resolution states the purpose of said election, the voting precinct established therefor, the location of the polling place therein, the hours the polls will be open, and the names of the election officers selected to conduct said election in each precinct, to wit:
RESOLUTION NO. 4
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF STANTON COUNTY WATER DISTRICT PROVIDING FOR AND OWNING NOTICE OF A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID-DISTRICT ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 26, 1964, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED VOTERS OF SAID DISTRICT A PROPOSITION TO INCUR BONDED INDEBTEDNESS BY SAID DISTRICT FOR A CERTAIN DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT.
The Board of Directors of Stanton County Water District does hereby RESOLVE DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1. That this Board deems it necessary that the Stanton County Water District incur a bonded indebtedness in the principal amount of one hundred ninety thousand dollars ($110,000) for the purpose of the acquisition of capacity (including rights of use) in the Magnolia Trunk Sewer Located in Magnolia, Carmery and Bushard Streets and presently owned by certain other districts and cities, and for the acquisition and construction of trunk and force main sewers and sewage pumping and mediation facilities, including the acquisition of all land, easements, pipe pumps, meters, machinery, apparatus and other property necessary therefor.
Section 2. That following a hearing thereon as by law provided, this Board has determined, and does hereby determine and state, that the whole of said county water district will be benefited by the accomplishment of the purpose above stated and by incurring said bonded indebtedness.
Section 3. That the maximum term of bonded indebtedness proposed to be incurred or said purpose is one hundred ninety thousand dollars ($110,000); that the maximum term the Nancy Wimmer
Nancy R. Wimmer, a native of Iowa, in California more than 30 years and an Orange county resident for 18 years, died Saturday afternoon at the Restful Acres Rest Home after an extended illness.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Osie Lee Wimmer of Anaheim; two granddaughters, Mrs. Vance R. Trent of Whittier and Mrs. A. W. Kimball of Long Beach and one great grandson.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at the graveside in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Arrangements in charge of the Hilgenfeld mortuary.
During the holidays, the home of Dr. and Mrs. Frederick Rusch, 902 Jadeway, was the scene of a family reunion attended by 30 members of the immediate family at the dinner hour.

Section 2. That, following a hearing thereon as by law provided, this Board has determined, and based hereby determine and state that the whole of said county water district will be acquired by the accomplishment of the purpose above stated and by incurring said bonded indebtedness.
Section 3. That the amount of bonded indebtedness proposed to be incurred or said purpose is one hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000); that the maximum term the bonds to be issued shall run before maturity shall be the maximum term permitted by Law to wit: forty (40) years from date thereof, but said bonds may be made to mature within a lesser number of years; that the maximum rate of interest to be paid on said indebtedness shall not exceed the maximum rate permitted by Law, to wit: given per cent (7%) per annum, payable annually for the first year and semiannually thereafter, the actual rate or rates of interest on said bonds to be determined at the time of the sale or sales thereof.
Section 4. That special election be held and the same is hereby called to be held in Stanton County Water District on the 26th day of January, 1954, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified voters of said bonded indebtedness and issuing bonds of said district therefor, in the amount hereinabove set forth, and for the purpose hereinabove stated.
That if the proposition for the incurring of said indebtedness so submitted receives the requisite number of votes, to wit more than two-thirds of the votes of the qualified voters voting on said proposition, bonds of said district in not exceeding the principal amount hereinabove stated shall be issued and sold for the purposes hereinabove set forth.
Section 5. That the polls for said election shall be opened at seven o'clock A.M. of the day of said election and shall remain open continuously from said time until seven o'clock P.M. of the same day, when said polls shall be closed except as provided in Section 5724 of the Elections Code of the State of California.
That on the ballots to be used at said special election, in addition to any other matters required by law, there shall be printed substantially the following:

Section 8. A cross (×) placed in the voting square after the word "YES" in the manner hereinbefore provided shall be counted in favor of the question or proposition. A cross (×) placed in the voting square after the word "NO" in the manner hereinbefore provided shall be counted against the adoption of the question or proposition.
Section 7. That for the purpose of holding said special election all of the territory within said Stanton County Water District shall comprise one voting precinct and all of the general election precincts in said county water district as now established for the holding of state and county elections and consolidated into one voting precinct which shall be designated Consolidated Voting Precinct A. The polling place for said precinct shall be the place hereinafter designated, and the persons hereinafter named, being competent and qualified electors and residents of said county water district and of said election precinct, are hereby appointed officers of election and they shall hold said election and make return thereof in the manner provided by law.

Section 8. That in all particulars not recited in this resolution, said election shall be held and conducted in the same manner as provided by law in respect to general water district elections so far as applicable, except as provided in Chapter 2, Part 6, Section 11 of the Water Code of the State of California.
Section 9. That the Board of Directors of said district shall meet at its usual place on Monday, February 1, 1854, at 7:30 o'clock, P.M., of said day, and proceed to canvass the election returns.
Section 10. That, there being no newspaper, printed and published in said district notice of said election shall be given by the Secretary of this Board by posting in three public places in said district a Notice of
