NEW GAME FISH The "redeye" or Coosa bass, a new game fish for California waters was recently brought in experimentally via plane with 39 large adults surviving. The Coosa is comparable to the small mouth bass in both fighting and eating qualities. It seems well suited to some of California's streams which are too warm for trout and too small for the other kinds of bass. December 31 was the birthdate of the baby son welcomed by Mr. and Mrs. Neal Lemons of 1006 W. Broadway in St. Joseph hospital. The infant weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz upon arrival.
