Julius Stankey Julius C. Stankey, 63, a native and resident of Anaheim died early Thursday morning enroute to work at the Long Beach Douglas Aircraft plant. Apparently enjoying good health his passing came as a distinct shock to his family and friends. The family home is at 751 N. Palm street. He is survived by his wife, Amanda Stankey; three sons, Edward J. Stankey of Altadena, Jay C. Stankey of Anaheim and Walter E Stankey of Long Beach; one daughter, Mrs. Elaine L. Kuiszmaul of San Clemente; two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Lenz of Anaheim and Mrs. Bertha Sterling of Pasadena and five grandchildren. He was a member of Bethel Baptist church of Anaheim. Funeral services were conducted from the Hilgenfeld chapel, 2 o'clock, Monday afternoon with Rev. Berthold Jacksteit, church pastor of Glicating. Burial was made in the Anaheim cemetery.
