Capilla Scene Of Wedding Rites for Couple
Miss Anna-Mae Byerley was united in marriage with Marvin W. Gould in Mormon ceremonies at Capilla de San Antonio wedding chapel, Bishop G. Merkley officiating.
For the simple marriage rites, Miss Byerley was a radiant bride in a street length gown of royal blue corded taffeta. As a pretty accent, she wore a wrist corsage of pink tea roses.
The bride's only attendant in the flower-decked chapel was matron of honor, Mrs. J. M. Porter. Mrs. Porter wore a tailored dress of navy blue with pale pink accessories and a corsage of pink tea roses. Her husband, J. M. Porter, attended the bridegroom to best man.
By the light of many tall tapers, Mrs. Clara Faust played the wedding music which included the bridal couple's favorite, "Because."
The bride makes her home at 10811 La Palma Ave., where the couple will live following a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas and Death Valley. Her parents are not living, but she was represented at the nuptial ceremonies by her grandmother, Mrs. G. E. Elb.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Cox of Salt Lake City, Utah, and has made his home locally at 10771 La Palma ave.

Demonstration On Phone Usage
A demonstration and explanation of correct telephone usage was given students of the Crisis Business College on Friday, by John Richards, lecturer of the Pacific-Telephone and Telegraph Company, Los Angeles branch.
In the one and one-half hour courtesy demonstration designed to assist telephone users in improving telephone habits, Richards presented two moving pictures. Their titles were, "Telephone Courtesy" and "I'm Listening." They are widely used by schools, business firms and organizations, Richards said, and deal with correct operation of telephone equipment and good voice technique.
