Zentz, new faculty member at Amaheim Union High School, who addressed the Orange County Council of Modern Language Teachers in Amaheim. Two years as vice counsel at Iquitos, Peru, on the upper Amazon, as well as two years at Manasos in Brazil, provided Zentz with a wealth of interesting material concerning life in the jungle. At the same meeting six of 12 Brazilian students spoke, all of whom are teachers visiting in America to work for masters or doctors degrees or to study our system of city planning, administrative analyses, and social security. According to one visiting Brazilian, five years of English are required in the high school program there. All Brazilians are here under the Institute of International Affairs program. At another meeting attended by FUHS language teachers, held at Bell High School recently, Dr. Elizabeth N. Read of Los Angeles City College showed pictures of Spain taken during a year's study there. Attending the meetings were Miss Dorcas Turner, Mrs. Arletta Kelly, Miss Myrtle Klahn, Dr. W. R. Marisa, and Miss Beatrice Bolano of FUHS, and Miss Geneva Johnson of Fullerton Junior College. AAIG Announces Openings in Night Industrial Class The Anaheim Area Industrial Group, an association representing leading industries in northern Orange County, today pointed out that a night class in Production and Manufacturing Control will take 10 more adults who are interested in learning the elements of a career in demand by local industry.
