Thompson, chapter chairman, and his wife who attended as delegates. Three thousand delegates, 300 of whom were from Junior Red Cross convened in Constitution Hall. High lights were the addresses of President Eisenhower; Roland Harriman, president of Red Cross, and Miss Susan Long. Junior Red Cross delegate from Beverly Hills. Members of the chapter's First Aid Service served at the Boy Scout Jamboree, giving first aid to visitors. Four stations were maintained by the Orange county chapters, and Anaheim supplied the largest number, in proportion to population, of any chapter. Hubert Ladig, First Aid chairman, was in charge.
