Henderson, state director of motor vehicles, announced today that local applicants for driver's license examinations may make appointments to take their tests. "The appointment system is being introduced on June 15 as a pilot project in the Santa Ana office with the expectation that it will be offered on a statewide basis in the future." Henderson said. Pomona Alumni Day is Saturday Anaheim area alumni of Pomona College are among more than 8000 being invited to the college's annual Alumni Day program, Saturday, May 13, at Claremont. Activities will begin with registration at 10 a.m. Class reunion lunches will be held at noon, and the traditional Wash Program at which the Class of '53 will be inducted formally into the alumni organization at the colorful Cereal Store. Twelve County Marines Return Of 12 Marines of the First Air Wing to return to Orange county June 2, six were from the northern part of the county. Kwikset Names New Directors Of Recreation New officers have been elected by the board of directors of the Kwikset Locks, Inc. Recreation Association, it was announced today by the Industrial Relations department of the Anaheim lock-set manufacturing firm. The association governs all athletic and recreation activities conducted by Kwikset employees. Guy Dolce 1142 S. Ross, Santa Ana, was re-elected president of the group. Other officers are Bernard (Bud)) Carter, 308 E. Adele, Anaheim, vice-preident, and Marilyn Denney, 8602 La Salle, Cypress, secretary-treasurer. Crescendo Club The Crescendo club will hold a hamburger fry for members and their guests on Saturday, June 13 at 6:30 p.m. It is to be at the home of Mr. and Mrs Ray Damerell at 739 N. The cabinet, including representatives of each class, is composed of Jackie Elder and Doris Holvey, seniors; Allison Wheeler and Jan Critchfield, junior; and Betty Klemm and Carol Fitz, sophomores.
