The Golden Text is from II Samuel (22:29): "Thou art my lamp, O Lord; and the Lord will lighten my darkness." The Parable of the Sower from Matthew's Gospel (13-28, 30) included in the Bible selections Jesus tells of the householder who having sown good seed in his field is told of tares among the wheat He says: "An enemy hath done this." "Let both grow together until the harvest," commands the householder; "and in time of harvest I will say to the reapers Gather ye together first the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn." Mary Baker Eddy says in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures: "The seed of Truth and the seed of error, of belief and of understanding—yea, the seed of Spirit and the seed of matter—are the wheat and the tares which time will separate, the one to be burned, the other to be garnered into heavenly places." It is our hope and prayer that many will make use of this opportunity for worship in spirit, beneath the cross of Jesus." 'Last Supper' Service Slated At White Temple The annual "Last Supper Service," endeavoring to reproduce as accurately as possible the actual menu and spirit of Jesus' last night with His disciples will be presented at White Temple Methodist church on Thursday evening following the 7:30 o'clock presentation in the sanctuary of Eric Thiman's cantata, "The Last Supper," by the Temple Choir augmented by members of the Youth Choir, and directed by Harlan D. Anderson with Marjorie Cranston at the organ. Immediately following the cantata, the choir will lead worshippers into the candlestit dining room where all will be seated to dine silently upon those food-stuffs common to Galileean peasants in the time of Jesus, while ministers read the story of the sacred events of those last hours. Roast lamb, matzos, herbs, and dates will be partaken in a ceremony whose historical accuracy was worked out by a group of research students at Boston University School of Theology. At the climax of the service, Holy Communion will be partaken at the tables as a part of the gospel story, and the audience will be dismissed after reading together the same Passover Psalm sung by Jesus and the disciples before Major work remaining on the Boys' Club is the installation of the wainscoating of knotty pine, plumbing of the shower room, painting, cementing the outside area, exterior trim and ign. Footlighters drama troupe of young people, personally directed by their pastor and just home from a Holy Week roadshow tour of leading churches in Arizona, will present their latest three-act religious play, "Simon's Wife," by Francis D. Alwaise. This drama is the story of the conflicts engendered in the home of Simon Peter by his determination to leave his wife and family to follow the Master. The Footlighters have won fame for Anaheim from the Mexican border to the Canadian border with their semi-professional interpretations of the most difficult religious dramas, and won national recognition in "Theatre Arts" magazine. Navel Shipments Up for Week Ending Mar. 28 LOS ANGELES — Sales of Southern California navel orange totaled some 850 cars during the week ending March 28, an increase of about 30 cars over those of the previous week. The f.o.b. avail- erage moved up about 30 cents around the level of $3.80 a box. Delivered prices in eastern auctions remained steady on large size navels but lower prices were evident the latter part of the week on 200s and smaller. The trade reported some consumer resis-tance to the higher price struc-ture on these sizes. Marketing agencies once again cautioned navel shippers to car-fully study supplies enroute and on track in setting their shipping program for next week. Excessive shipments at this time are certain to have an adverse effect on grower returns. Average prices on Florida o-anges were somewhat lower the week with shipments continuing in excess of 1400 cars per week from that area. Demand for California lemons was easier during the week, sali-decreasing about 15 cars below those of last week and the low-average declining about 15 cents a box. Trend of the lemon muket was generally termed as abo-seasonal for this time of year. Prorate for the week endi- April 4 was set at 250 cars by the lemon administrative committee the same as this week.
