Naturally, the latest, most efficient household appliances will be incorporated in the home. Designed for entertainment as well as family living, the arrangement of the three spacious rooms that comprise the center portion, unified as they are and thrown open to a luxurious private patio, may well earn for it the title of Conferences for Realty, Building Persons Slated The Orange County Title Co. of Santa Ana will present a series of educational conferences for the benefit of realtors, builders, engineers, architects, financial institutions and others who may be interested in attending. The schedule of these conferences and subjects to be discussed are as follows: On Feb. 17, at 7:30 p.m. a panel of experts from the Federal Housing Administration headed by H. V. This entry way leads into a spacious front hall which divides the bedroom from the main part of the house, and boasts several closets, one of them cedar lined. A magnificent planter in this hallway lends atmosphere. The livingroom stretches 26 feet across the front of the house and has a width of 16 feet. Nurserymen say... by Orange County Nurserymen Association One of the treats of the spring garden is the flowering of deciduous shrubs and trees. Some species are best planted where they stand out as specimens, usually those kinds having rather ornamental stems when bare, while other, such as the Spiraea, are best planted against a dark background where the bloom shows up prominently and where the bare stems are almost invisible. This point should be considered when choosing a deciduous shrub. and has a width of 16 feet. UNIQUE FEATURES One of the unique features of the house is a small, easily accessible basement for storage. It houses a water softener and a Coleman air conditioning unit, a combination of gas and electricity which will heat the house in winter and cool it in summer. Local homemakers will be especially interested in the kitchen's Thermador cooking unit. It is composed of a built-in oven and separate warming drawer and a generous surface element. This surface element will have a hood with built-in fan and light. It will be entirely surrounded with tile even to the adjacent wall space. Other highlights of the house are a ten foot picture window fitted with glare-proof glass, two beautiful fireplaces, and extensive cove fluorescent lighting. TERMS To Suit Your One of the treats of the spring garden is the flowering of deciduous shrubs and trees. Generally, soil should be rich and well loam. Addition of peat moss or leaf mold worked in deeply improves nearly any soil. Deciduous shrubs mostly are best planted at this time of year when they are available in the bare root stage at nurseries. Among our deciduous flowering shrubs are the flowering quince, with gay red, pink, or white blossoms on interestingly tangled branches. Magnolia Soulangeana is an upright shrub bearing purple and cream chalices on dark upright stems. Magnolia stellata displays waxy white stars that look like artificial wax flowers. Dwarf flowering almond bears a profusion of tiny pink or white very double blooms. The gracefully arching branches of the Forsythia, or Golden Bells, are strung with gay yellow bells in February or March. Spiraea, both the single form known as Bridal Wreath, and the double form make banks of snow in the spring garden. Mention must be made of the Lilac. While it does not make the show here that it does in colder climates. Its fragrance and lovely lavender sprays endear it to all who know it. HILGENFELD MORTUARY London Courtyard Service 20 E.
