BILL BELL of Anaheim, following their wedding Sunday, Nov. 23, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kreidt, 828 S. Palm. The bride is the former Informal Rites Unite Couple One of the most beautiful formal weddings of the season performed Sunday, Nov. 23, at home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kreidt, 828 S. Palm st., for Virginia Magilo, daughter of Etta Hensley, and Bill Bell, the Rev. Bob Kevorkian officiating. The lovely bride, given in her marriage by Clarence Stayner, wore a navy blue suit accented with grey brilliants and accessories carried a yellow rosebud cover with streamers arranged on prayer book. Mrs. Leonard (Pat) Kr wearing grey and maroon tunic with a yellow carnation corona was matron of honor, and F.Cagwin served as groomsman. The bride's mother wore crepe with black accessories in a yellow carnation corsage. The ceremony was performed before a bank of flowers in warm, soft shades of autumn which were also used to decorate the home. Guests were the bride's sister Mrs. Louise Pack and daughter Earlene, Jean and Carol Ann and Mrs. Warren Hollingswyn Mrs. Clarence Stayner and B.B Robinson. Following the ceremony reception was held, attended by many friends of the bride's bridegroom both of whom employed at Northrop Aircraft Anaheim plant. The new will be established in Anaheim upon the return of the co-funded from a wedding trip to San Francisco. MR. AND MRS. BILL BELL of Anaheim, following their wedding Sunday, Nov. 23, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kreidt, 828 S. Palm. The bride is the former Virginia Maglio. VFW Auxiliary Plans Riverside Meeting The Anaheim V.F.W. Auxiliary met Monday evening, with Mrs. Emma Heckman presiding, and made plans to attend the second district meeting at West Riverside on Sunday, Dec. 7. Ivy Ryan, who has assisted the organization for several months with escort service to the Long Beach Naval hospital, was initiated following the business meeting. Charlotte Maxon and Germaine Marion, hostesses, prepared a special table centered with a birthday cake, honoring members with birthdays in October and November. Members of the Auxiliary will officiate at the Hospitality Tea at the Dorothy-Wade restaurant on Saturday, Dec. 6. Personals Mr., and Mrs. William Kruse, Olive Park apartments, are the parents of a son, born Nov. 24 at St. Joseph's hospital. The little boy weighed in at seven pounds, 14½ ounces. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kruse and the Otto Idsos of Fullerton, and has been named James Robert. Edward Gallagher and Joseph Huarte, are home for the Thanksgiving holidays. L. B. Guest speaker of the banquet will be Rev. Bing Crosby of Lakewood. The dinner will be highlighted by the presentation of the trophies to the Varsity and "C" teams for winning Sunset League championships. Gifts will be presented to the coaches by their teams and letters will be given out to those who have earned them. The drama banquet was held last Wednesday night in the basement of White Temple Methodist church. Following the dinner, each new member was asked to present some type of entertainment in the form of a song, skit, pantime, or dance as the price initiation into the club. Clad in their blue and gold uniforms, the Colonist band, its six majorettes, four songleaders, and four flag-twirlers will journey to Long Beach tomorrow in spite of the Thanksgiving holiday and the nippy weather, to compete with 78 other Southland bands in the "All Western Band Review." Four nurses met Friday morning in the library and discussed the club's initiation Dec. 2, when skits will be presented by the new initiates following a potluck dinner. Many sizes, shapes and flavors of cookies were sold Tuesday at recreation period in the cafeteria. The cookies were made by Commercial club members and were sold for an unreasonably low price of five cents a bag. The object of the cookie sale was to raise money for the club. A Thanksgiving dinner, with all the traditional trimmings was presented to a needy Anaheim family last night by the Junior Par-Y-Femin. All the food was prepared and donated by the girls of the club. Recital Given At Marywood St. Cecelia is considered the patron of music. Recently in her honor, some of the talented young students of the music department at Marywood High School entertained their classmates at a recital in the beautiful parlors of the school. Will Present A Capella Choir The Altrusa club of Anaheim will present a Christmas program at the Anaheim Ebell clubhouse on Monday, Dec. 8, at 7:30 p.m., for the pleasure and delight of all who enjoy fine music. The program will feature the A Capella choir under the direction of Sheldon Disrud, musical director of the Anaheim high school. The Altrusa club takes great pleasure in being able to bring to the community this program which is appropriate to the season and offers much to all who appreciate music.
