NORTHROP-ANAHEIM DELIVERS 1000th RANGE FINDER—The 100th T-41 optical range finder produced by Northrop Aircraft's Anaheim Division was presented yesterday to Col. W. S. Broberg, center, chief of the Los Angeles Ordnance District, by Richard R. Nolan, left, Northrop-Anaheim manager. Oliver P. Echols, Northrop board chairman and general manager, looks on. Northrop Holds 1000th RangeFinder Ceremony Ceremonies commemorating delivery of its 1000th T-41 optical range finder to the U.S. army ordnance corps were held yesterday noon at Northrop's Aircraft Anaheim division. Richard R. Nolan, Northrop-Anaheim manager, who spoke to 1200 personnel assembled for the event, presented the 1000th in Subversive Charge Against UNESCO To be Discussed Is UNESCO (the United Nations educational, scientific and cultural organization) a subversive organization? That is the topic of the regular 7 o'clock Sunday night service at White Temple Methodist church of Anaheim, when Conrad J. Moss, Los Angeles attorney, will endeavor to answer the controversial question. Mr. Moss speaks not as an educator, and has no personal reason. TOKYO (P)—Army censors had had a field day with a story that arrived in the Tokyo office of the Army newspaper, Stars and Stripes today. The item was stamped "aproved as revised." It read: "Somewhere in Korea——" Every word of the text was blacked out by censors. To be Discussed Is UNESCO (the United Nations educational, scientific and cultural organization) a subversive organization? That is the topic of the regular 7 o'clock Sunday night service at White Temple Methodist church of Anaheim, when Conrad J. Moss, Los Angeles attorney, will endeavor to answer the controversial question. Mr. Moss speaks not as an educator, and has no personal reason to defend the program nor yet as a factional leader with any axe to grind against it. Speaking from the background of his own study and observation of the program which took him on a recent trip to Europe, he will present the facts regarding the organization which has created such a furor among critics of the public schools using United Nations materials. He is appearing as a substitute for Mr. Paul G. Hoffman, who was unable to attend this gathering. At both the 9 and 11 a.m. morning service, Rev. Frank E. Butterworth will preach on "The Barren Fig Tree." Wreckage of Navy Plane Yields Four Bodies SHELTON, Wash. (P) — The charred and tangled wreckage of a navy plane which exploded against a hillside Wednesday night with 11 men aboard has yielded four broken bodies and the remainder are being sought today. The wreckage, scattered over a wide area of the forested Olympic mountains foothill, 15 miles northwest of here, was found by search parties last night. They had been directed to the scene by residents of the area who saw the Seattle based, four engineered plane pass low overhead and then crash with a roar and blinding flash into the 2200 foot hill. The plane was found at the 1,-800 foot level. The bodies were burned beyond recognition and the navy said there was no reason to believe there had been any survivors." Included among those lost in the accident was Capt. G. R. Dyson, 48, commander of fleet air wing four, who had gone along as an observer. The plane, on a training mission, was from a patrol team. Hold Regular Meet Katella school district board of directors, meeting Tuesday, received a letter from the State Division of Schoolhouse Planning containing its comments on the proposed $50,000 addition to the Katella plant.
