For the Colonists girls Carol Barnett was high girl and received the Kerr Perpetual Trophy. This is her second time to win this trophy. Le Dema Lattin was second high girl. The boys failed to place with a total score of 873 for the five men. Kay Schmitt won the cub class "B" and was also the high girl of that class. Oklahoma City has contracted Balboa Possible Site for Scout National Meet Anaheim Sea Scout Ship was the subject of the program yesterday when the co-sors of the ship, the Anaheim tary club and Anaheim Lions met in a combined session. During the course of the program, William Spurgeon Jr. Santa Ana, commodore of the Scout activities in Orange city, announced that Orange county is in line to be host to the national Boy Scout Jamboree in summer of 1953. The round-up would attract some 000 Boy Scouts and 50,000 attend to Orange county. Tentative for the event is Balboa. General chairman for the ning was Rex Coons of the B club who introduced scouting rers present and explained joint sponsorship of the Sea S ship by the two clubs. Skip Bill Burr of the Rotary club introduced the Sea Scouts pres trudged the Sea Scouts reg at Balboa. He said Orange city led the nation in the senior Scouting program. SUBSIDY FOR MOUNTAIN GUIDES IN SWITZERLAND BERN, Switzerland (P)—Swiss government has decided continue its 30 per cent subsidy to mountain guides to save profession from extinction.
