Children's Drive For Clothing Set For January 10
Children of Anaheim Elementary schools are being asked to participate next Thursday in the Children's Clothing Crusade sponsored by the Save the Children Federation by bringing serviceable clothing and shoes to school.
Most of the clothing donated by Anaheim families at this time will be sent to Korea since the need is so critical at this time of the year, but some will also be sent to needy families in this country and Europe.
On the Navajo Indian reservation the federation distributes through reservation schools, shoes, clothing, blankets and layettes.
Clothing collected will be picked up and delivered to the needy all over the world in a very short time. This will be a one-day drive and parents are asked to remember the date, Jan. 10.
