For Results and Quick Demonstration Set On Windbreak Management Winbreak management and planting recommendations will be the subject of a special field meeting to be held Friday, Nov. 16, by the Agricultural Exentension Service. All growers of windbreaks and others interested are invited to attend, according to Farm Advisor Harold E. Wahlberg. The meeting will be held at 2 p.m., at the place of Kenneth Rohrs located at 18251 East Fairhaven ave., near Prospect ave., east and south of the city of Orange. Here Mr. Rohrs has young and old windbreaks that will serve as a demonstration of several phases of windbreak management under discussion. Special mention will be made of proper irrigation, trimming and root cutting of windbreaks, and a new disease that has appeared in a few plantings locally. Woodbridge Metcalf, well-known forester of the University of California, has been invited to attend the meeting, said Wahlberg. He is a national authority.
