Mr. Basil Bond Dies Recently Basil H. Bond, from the Saw-telle Hospital, died Sunday. He was a resident of 11411 Oxnard st., Hollywood. He was born in 1899. Bond is survived by his wife, Martha Bond, and two children; one son, Carl and one daughter, Arlene, both of Hollywood. His mother is Mrs. Josephine Bond of Anaheim. He also leaves three brothers—Jack of Upland, Carl of Montebello and James of San Leardo, and four sisters, Miss Elsie Rea of Anaheim, Mrs. Virginia Ussery of Pomona, Mrs. Dolly Enloe of Santa Ana and Mrs. Josephine Stayton of Iowa. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Backs, Campbell and Kaulbars with the Rev. A. J. Casebeer officiating. Interment will be at the Melrose Abbey.
