For Results and Quick Local Tennis Players Have Tough Matches Jean Williams of Anaheim and her partner Francis Huneke of Inglewood, accounted for one of the few upsets in the seedings of the Seventh Annual Pasadena Junior Tennis Tournament during the past weekend when they defeated the third seeded team of Libby Lamb and Adele Hughes of San Marino in the quarter finals of the thirteen and under girls' doubles to go into the semi-finals which will be played next Saturday at 2:00 o'clock on the Pasadena City College courts. Their opponents in this match will be the second seeded team of Deidre Tichenor and Judy Butt of Santa Monica who defeated Anaheim's team of Anne Williams and Karen Lenain in the quarter finals by a decisive 6-0, 6-0 score. Anaheim's few entrants found this third ranking junior tournament a hard one in which to compete because of the great amount of talent which it attracts; and scores for the most part were decisively against the Anaheim group. Mary Flynn received a first round default from Connie Storhart of Los Angeles to complete the harvest... Anaheim Gazetteer by JOHN S. NEUBAUER WEATHERWISE—"Hot enough for you?"
