Officials of the company stated that many popular features have had much to do with the rapid sale of the homes. The tract is now nearly sold out although a floor plan selection is still available and homes are ready for immediate occupancy for qualified GI buyers.
The furnished model home will continue to be open for inspection every day until the homes are completely sold, and terms may still be arranged on FHA or veteran's financing, agents stressed.

Demonstrates for Small Yard
Australian Tea Tree
In the beginning, Mr. and Mrs. Schultz planted two Australian trees, one at the corner of the front porch and the other near the back door. These unusual trees are the crux of the land-raising scheme. Their lacy foliage is grown umbrella-cashion to conform to the contours of the house and to extend over a porch of the garden area. The resulting shade makes possible all manner of shade-loving plants from baby tears and begonias to size winning camellias, garnias and fuchsias.
Next were planted the fruit trees—nectarine, peach, apricot and two avocados—which are well bearing abundantly.
They not only supply wonder-fruit but also form the background for the outdoor living room where out of door meals are often served and where Mrs. Schultz likes to work on her hobby ceramic painting.
The yard is fenced with a five-foot redwood fence almost completely covered by variegated ivy and the broad leafed chatee vine, plus the tall trees, gives the privacy of country living to a citytown.
Japanese Influence
There is a Japanese quality to this tiny retreat because every square inch of space is utilized and so many strange, exotic plants are in evidence.
A well-pruned ornamental strawberry tree actually bears small, red, edible fruit. The air fragrant with the perfume of night-blooming cornes plant.
