Down Conditions, Poor Appetite, When Caused by Deficiencies of Vitamins B1, B2, Niacin and Iron
A weak, run-down condition can make life mighty drab for folks who feel that way. Imagine not having a good appetite. Loss of weight and energy oftimes accompany this condition. When Mrs. Ardena Longaker, a minister's wife, who lives at Rt. 5, Meadobrook Rd., North Kansas City, Mo., began feeling that way she began taking HADACOL, for she had heard how it was helping people with weak, run-down conditions and poor appetite, when due to a deficiency of Vitamins B1, B2, Niacin and Iron. Now, Mrs. Longaker says she feels good and is recommending HADACOL to her friends.
Here is what she says:
"I am a minister's wife and am 39 years old. I was run-down, lost weight, was listless, and had no appetite at all. I'm on my fifth bottle now and am amazed at the results. I want to eat all the time now. Most of all, I'm glad to say I've gained several pounds. HADACOL is so economical, I believe almost anyone can afford it, and I do recommend it to my friends."
HADACOL now makes it possible to actually relieve the REAL CAUSE of weak, run-down conditions, stomach distress, nervousness, poor appetite and nagging aches and pains when due to the lack of Vitamins B1, B2, Niacin and Iron in the system.
AND LISTEN TO THIS! Continued use of this great HADACOL not only gives continuous complete relief but helps keep such painful distress from returning when caused by such deficiencies. Now that's the kind of product you have been waiting for. That's the kind you should buy and start taking at once.
And HADACOL'S wonderful Vitamins and Minerals come in special pleasant liquid form so they are quickly absorbed and assimilated in the blood, ready to go to work at once.
HADACOL IS SO EFFECTIVE
Because HADACOL helps build up the hemoglobin content of your blood (when Iron is needed) to carry these precious Vitamins and Minerals to every organ and to every part of your body.
You may have tried other Vitamin preparations or other Vitamins and Mineral preparations, so we make you this offer. Try a bottle of HADACOL today. You be the judge. If you do not believe that HADACOL is the best Vitamin and Mineral preparation you have ever taken, we will gladly send you back your money. That's our positive money-back guarantee.
So be fair to yourself. Don't go through life suffering from these conditions when caused by lack of Vitamins B1, B2, Niacin and Iron, when relief may be as close at hand as your nearest drug store.
REFUSE SUBSTITUTES
There's only one HADACOL. Don't let anyone tell you something else is "just as good." Insist on genuine HADACOL. You risk nothing because HADACOL is sold on a strict money-back guarantee.
Sold at all drug stores. Trial size, $1.25, but buy the large family-size, only $3.50.

Arthur M. Oliver, 41, retired naval officer, 2229 S. Hickory Santa Ana, suffered compound fractures of his right elbow right hand, with laceration of the face and head, when his car crashed at high speed against the side of a Southern Pacific sugar boat at the Delhi road crossing Santa Ana, at 12:50 a.m., today.
Witnesses told Santa Ana police that Oliver driving at a rate, did not slacken speed as struck the train which was a charge of Conductor Everett Gearhart of Pasadena.

When making a centerpiece fruit, pile it on a tray to make it convenient to pass. If the trunk is silver, protect it from tarnish and possible scratches by placing a sheet of waxed paper under the fruit.

Johnson Tells
(Continued from Page 1)
He would support the proposal to tighten the economic blockade against red China.
He would go along with a naval blockade of the China coast but wouldn't agree to blocking Manchurian ports controlled by the Russians.
As to MacArthur's proposal to permit air reconnaissance of the China coast and Manchuria, Johnson said he had been out of government since Sept. 18.
Senator Lyndon Johnson (D-Tex) asked for an opinion on "the advisability of bombing Manchuria?"
The censor deleted the 60-word reply but Senators said the witness opposed this proposal.
On the question of using Chinese nationalist troops now on Formosa, Johnson said he thought they should have been furnished equipment and that he would want to hear from the U.S. military mission there. He also said:
"But so far as lifting the restrictions and letting them drag us into war over there at the present time, I would not."
Johnson said he didn't want to express an opinion on whether MacArthur's removal from his commands was justified, then added:
"I wouldn't buck the president's decision if he had lost confidence in the general."

PACKING SUITCASE
When packing a suitcase for a vacation trip or just for a week-end jaunt, remember to take along some extra waxed paper. It is handy for wrapping wet things before putting them back in the suitcase—things like wet sponges used for makeup, damp wash cloths, and sponges for cleaning shoes.
It is also a good protector for a traveler's toothbrush, for waxed paper does not come apart when it comes in contact with water.
