Leading the speakers of the evening, C. J. Stillson spoke on "You Speak with Your Voice" followed by Page Vincent who explained "Voice Gestures." Concluding the evening's presentation Aubrey Van Verst discussed the subject "How to Speak Words." A round table discussion of the theme was then conducted and questions were directed to the speakers. Dr. Keneth Heuler acted as topic master of the evening and presented "Our Present National Economy" as his subject. It was unanimously voted to hold a "ladies' night" to mark the completion of the speechcraft course. President Taylor appointed Marion Pickel as chairman of the committee on arrangements. The meeting was under the chairmanship of President Louis Taylor, the invocation was given by Marion Pickel and C. O. Garshwiler was instructor chairman. The meeting was held in the banquet room of Lum's cafe. Herman Hoch, former president of Anaheim Toastmaster, was a visitor and gave a short talk on the importance of Toastmaster training.
