An eight year old daughter is in the third grade and another son has been in the Army for three years. He only got as far as the eighth grade but he believes that traveling has made up for his lack of formal education. At 47 he has traveled around the world and has had experiences that he intends to record in a book to be published next year, he claims. Born in Brooklyn, he didn't come to the West Coast until 1945. During the period in between he worked in Panama and in 1920 he left from the Balboa Canal Zone in Panama and sailed east, as a member of the crew, for more than 47,000 miles. Finally in 1945, he landed from an oil tanker at San Francisco and in 1948 joined the U.S. Military Sea Transportation Pacific. During the last election at Corona, Mr. Zidbeck ran for Justice of the Peace and tied for His latest project, to which he laid the corner-stone in May, was the Yellow Barn Spit & Argue club, at Home Gardens in Corona, third place.
