JCC Schedules 'Bosses Night'
"Bosses' Night" will be held 7 o'clock Wednesday evening at Lum's cafe, 1126 N. Los Angeles st., the Junior Chamber of Commerce announced last night at a Board of Directors meeting.
Members of the JCC have invited their employers to attend Wednesday's special meeting to give them a working idea of what the Junior Chamber is, how it operates, and how its projects aid the community. Everett Ross, president of the California State JCC, will speak at the meeting.
Plans for sponsoring a boy's sports program were also discussed at last night's meeting. Bill Ross was appointed to take charge of organizing a softball club, and Kenny Banks will make plans for forming an Anahem entry for the soap box derby for the youngsters.
The next meeting of the JCC will be held Wednesday at "Bosses Night."
About 80 per cent of U.S. homes are made of wood.

to vote for (or against) enargement the board from its present members to five members, more candidates will be elected serve in the event the five-man board is approved by the vote.
If the five-man board is rejected, the two candidates will run in vain since there would no position for them to fill.
John P. Mary, a member of present three-man board has led for re-election for his position. The new term expires July 1954.
Candidates who have filed positions on the five-man board are Mrs. Carrie Rogers, Gilb Koehler, and Dr. Cyril Smith.
If the five-man board is proved, the newly elected board members will begin their tenure of office on the date the vote canvassed.
