Small Talk
By JACKIE CUSHING
Early Friday afternoon, participants in the sixteenth annual Southern California music festival had started to arrive at FJC and before the climax of the event a total of 6000 band members are expected to participate. The four day festival will be climaxed with a parade of 40 bands through downtown Fullerton and a concert to take place in the stadium.
More About Music
Members of the A Coppella choir have been touring nearby high schools with a program of musical excerpts and scenes from South Pacific and Rose Marie. In the near future Anaheim high school is scheduled to hear the songsters do their stuff.
Any Complaints
Not long ago a gripe session was held during the assembly period to find out what boys thought about girls and vice versa. A number of helpful hints resulted from the discussion. One conclusion made by co-eds was that Blue and Gold week should be strictly a dutch treat affair since the fellas have to save up their money for that big date after graduation.
Open House
Plans for open house have almost been completed as the date of the event rapidly approaches. On April 20, special exhibits and entertainment which will include a fourteen piece band will be featured.
