ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA
Final Unit Begun In Housing Tract
The final unit of the 104 Lifetime homes in the 700 block on E. Chapman in Fullerton was under way this week with brisk sales reported as proof of the popularity of the tropical-modern three-bedroom homes.
Agents at the Fullerton location assert the availability of veteran financing has increased sales despite the fact that the official opening of the tract has not been definitely set.
Both veterans and non-veterans are reportedly enthusiastic over the three-bedroom dwellings at the Fullerton location. Such features as fireplaces, 2-car garages, hobby rooms, hardwood floors, and other innovations at a budget price are offered the builders stated.
The Fullerton homes, located near Fullerton junior college and high school, are the first to be started by the Lifetime co., this year. The building concern constructed and sold nearly 1000 of their dwellings in the record-making year of 1950.
Happiness consists, not in possessing much, but in being content with what we possess. He who wants little always has enough—Zimmermann

'MURDERESS' FREE ON VICTIM'S DEATH
LOS ANGELES UP — Walton Wood, 25, died today—but the sheriff's office said the woman who shot him can never be tried for murder.
The shooting occurred four years ago, and under California law death must be presumed natural unless it occurs within a year and a day after injury.
Mrs. Alberta Hughes Parsons now 39, was convicted of shooting Wood in an argument March 9, 1947, and sentenced to a year in the county jail for assault with intent to commit murder.
