Lynn of Riverside was today elected president of Fruit Growers Supply Company at the annual meeting of the organization owned by the California-Arizona citrus packing associations affiliated with the California Fruit Growers Exchange. LeRoy E. Lyon of Orange and L. W. Fowler of Santa Barbara were elected vice-presidents and L. A. Yoast was elected secretary of the corporation. Lynn is starting his first full term of office having moved from first vice-president to president upon the death of the late Charles C. Teague, who died in 1950. Fowler is also starting his first full term of office as 2nd vice-president. During 1950, Fruit Growers Supply Company produced 89 per cent of all the box requirements of its members and 73 per cent of the citrus box shook distributed to all segments of the California-Arizona citrus industry. Lumber for boxes comes from company owned or operated timber in Northern California and is processed in three mills located in the northern part of the state. Total gross business of the company was more than $26 million during 1950. The corporation paid taxes in excess of $750,000 during the year. Members of Fruit Growers Sup- Arizona citrus industry.
