Schools Week
Set April 23-27
California's thirty-second annual Public Schools Week will held April 23 to 27, according to an announcement made by Gov. D. Gavin, general chairman of the event. More than 600 committees have been named throughout the state to work in conjunction with the school authorities in holding open house programs in schools during the week.
"The Public School—an American Heritage" is the slogan this year. Gov. Earl Warren issue a proclamation urging public to visit one or more schools. All of the schools will hold on house.
