School Officials Return from East
J. A. Baker, Everett Cone, R. C. Cawthon, all school board trustees and Paul H. Demaree, principal of AUHS and their wives have spent the past two weeks in the east.
They arrived in New York to attend a United Nations Institute in New York City from Feb. 12 to the 15. From there they journeyed to Atlantic City, N.J., to attend the American association of Secondary School administrators convention, from Feb. 17 to the 22.
Remaining portion of time was spent touring New Orleans and Washington, D.C. Mr. and Mrs. Cone, left three days after the others had gone, and traveled by plane. They arrived home last Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Demaree and Mr. and Mrs. Cawthon are expected on a 3:30 p.m. train arriving in Pomona this afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Baker will return later.
