Air Review Added To Fullerton Vet’s Day Parade An aerial review has been added to the Orange County Veterans Day Parade to be held in Fullerton Saturday, C. J. Stull, general chairman of the celebration announced today. A flight of approximately 20 aircraft from the 714th Squadron of the 448th light bomb wing from Long Beach will skim over the line of march along Spadra road at 11 a.m., an hour after the parade is scheduled to start. A rocket will be fired from the ground to signal the coming of the aircraft; the parade will come to a halt and buglers will sound taps as the airplanes fly over and dip their wings in salute. Major Lloyd Colboch of Fullerton will lead the Air Forces Reserve squadron on its Veterans Day flight. Colboch is a veteran pilot, having flown bombers, cargo and fighter aircraft in the China-Burma-India theater during World War II. He holds the Distinguished Flying Cross. Other additions are being made to the parade daily, according to James Grieves, parade chairman. A marching contingent of military police from Fort MacArthur will join the other armed forces units that will be represented in the parade.
