I am going to be especially grateful and thankful to the Comma City Chest volunteer when she comes to my door. Chances are that she will be a wonderful person who has generously contributed her time to this worthwhile cause. My hat is off to Mrs. R. V. Marvin and to Mrs. Ray Reafsnyder for the long hours they have given to the chest. And to Mrs. W. H. Sparks who offered to organize her district in spite of a heavy schedule and a poor case of arthritis. To Mrs. Robert Kettler who said she would canvass her neighborhood if she could so it after her son recovers from chicken pox. Give generously when the Community Chest volunteer comes to your door. ANAHEIM'S OWN Anaheim has a 4-11 club to be proud of. Organized under the name of "Katella Thimbles," the club has been awarded many prizes at the county fairs this year and when you see some of the handiwork, you will see why. These girls have had all sorts of projects going and it is downright amazing to see the work of their nimble fingers. The handiwork of the "Katella Thimbles" is on display in Penney's window this week. Most of the materials used in their dresses, suit, laundry bags and interior decorations was purchased in the yardage department of Penney's. In appreciation for these fine materials and for assistance they received salespeople at Penney selecting their patterns, plies, the "Katella Thimble" put their finished product in Penney's window.
