COLUMNING—T'other n Jimmy Starr, Hollywood columnist, was blopped one beak in a one-punch nite fight. That isn't news—it's part of the journalistic profession... Why Art Cohen, one of best columnists developed in parts, was virtually a punk bag for his irate public, but worked his way up from the desk to a plush movie office... Yeah, wasn't he the guy tried to deny that Bergman-sellini mess after one of Wh Randolph's syndicated column "scooped" the world on something no one else wanted to put... Why, even the proprietor, a two-by-four column has troubles. A year ago a grow potential baseballers doused GAZZETTEER with a well-a-bucket of water. Elmér Willis the innocent by -stander, soaked... One of Anaheim's ter softball pitchers—a last Mexican-Indian extraction — threatened to pitch one at "face that would stop an e-day clock."... and C. W., the headman of a war-time yard, tried to throttle the writer-pounding of the GAZZETTEER who was then criticized trial-and-error production rods... It is like Mike McGee says: "Compliments some folks get mad; don't, and they'll..."
