Application for enlistment under this program can be made at 9346th Volunteer Air Reserve Training Squadron, room 107, 1012 N. Main st., Santa Ana, Calif., on any day Tuesday thru Sunday, from 0800 to 1700 hours.

LONG BEACH (AP) — Teacher counted noses after recess and found a five-year-old kindergarten missing. A hasty search was fruitless and Principal Elizabeth Steele hurried to the lad's house.
There he was, happily playing. "Don't you like school?" she asked. "Yes," the boy answered. "Don't you like your teacher?" "Oh, yes."
Well, why was he at home? "I like my own toys better. You don't have any guns at school."
