Film or some 300 negatives already has been locked in the main vault and is destroyed. A storm of protest broke about the University administration this week when some of the girl students who had been photographed faked complained to their parents. The photographs were taken during physical examinations given entering students, but were not a regular part of that examination. They were for use in a comatotype (type of body world) project conducted by Constitution laboratory at Columbia University Medical School. Sponsors said similar photography had been taken at a dozen other schools during the last 15 years. University officers said the entire incident resulted from a "misunderstanding" and promptly cancelled further work on the project here. Allen, university president, said she pro-tected herself by screening by the school of Physical Education, the Graduate School and went over it personally.
