G. W. Irwin, 7862 Second st., left Friday for Provost, Utah. An accountant with the Wells Bookkeeping Service of Long Beach he is on a three week's vacation which he will spend, he said, "Just fishing."
Dick Albrecht, son of Mrs. Ernest Rutel, 2500 Magnolia ave., Long Beach, who was seriously injured last December, when they were residents in Stanton at 10651 S. Chestnut, is much improved. He was riding a motor scooter when truck by an automobile in Downey and has been in the Los Angeles General hospital most of the time where he has had a series of operations.
He was fitted for braces last Friday for his leg. He will wear the new braces for a year, after which he will have a final operation. Conrary to what was first believed he will be able to live at home rather than in the hospital.
Mrs. Rutel and her new husband have been in Stanton the past two weeks building a garage on their property where another son, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Albrecht and their children reside.
Mr. and Mrs. Warren Cox, 7921 Second st., and their five months old son, David Roger, moved to 525 S. Zeyn st., Anaheim, last Monday. Cox formerly owned the service station.

Fullertons Add 17 New Teachers
Taking-up their duties this week with the Fullerton Union High school and Junior College district, 17 new faculty members were introduced at an assembly of combined staffs last week.
Two members of the group have taught in Fullerton before. Mrs. Gertrude Hess, high school English, and Mrs. R. Louise Garman, high school mathematics.
Joining the Junior College staff this year are: Mrs. Quessie M. Anderson, practical nursing, who has had 10 years experience as a nurse and has been recently teaching in Santa Ana; George Fowler, English, who comes from Manteca Union High school where he taught dramatics and physical education; Robert R. Gates, science, who took his B.A., at Stanford, his practice teaching at San Mateo Junior College; Robert LaMaster, music, who holds an M.M., degree from the Eastman school of music and has taught in the Santa Ana school system; Miss Betty Joyce Larsen, biology, holds an M.A., from Mt.
