Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ryan of 1413 E. Chapman st., are the parents of an eight pound six ounce boy born at the St. Joseph Hospital August 21.
May Sorenson of Pasadena is the houseguest of her aunt, Mrs. Fred Kaisen, 116 N. Lawrence, Fullerton.
Gayle Alice Miner of Costa Mesa spent a week with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gledhill of 411 N. Emily st. Gayle Alice is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Miner, who have just moved into a new home in Costa Mesa Heights.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Luce of 381 North Baker street, retains their home last weekend from a vacation of two weeks spent with Mrs. Jo. Bone o. Donrover Cedar Pines Park.
Jack Gledhill, Jr., is in the Marshall Islands, with a Los Angeles construction company, which is doing construction work there. He has been in the islands since last January. Jack, a native of Anaheim, will celebrate his 26th birthday on September 16, just about the time he receives this paper.
Don't forget the Spanish dinner and ice cream social at the Evangelical United Brethren church tonight between 6 and 8 o'clock.
