ANNUAL ICE CREAM SOCIAL—A large turnout was present for the ice cream social sponsored by the Service Class of the Wesley Methodist church Thursday night on the lawn. Pictured at the table from left to right are: Karen Elliott, Sally Davis, Fran Jebousek and Fran Elliott, guests and Miss Dickie Graham and James Dutzi Wed Thursday Morning in St. Boniface Rites Repeating their vows before a high altar banked with white gladiolus, Miss Dickie Graham and James Dutzi were wed in a semi-formal ceremony at the St. Boniface church, with Father Coleman officiating at the rites. The bride wore a sheer dress of swiss imported organdy, accented at the gathered waist and hem by embroidered yellow and grey daisies and fashioned with a high neckline and cap sleeves. Her veil, which featured a tiny juliet headpiece, was of fingertip length and was sprinkled with tiny embroidered daisies matching those on her dress. Her bridal bouquet was of cream colored chrysanthemums with white streamers. Her ensemble also included the traditional blue garter, also something borrower, loaned by a close school friend, Miss Frances Plou. A string of pearls was the something new to the bride's costume and she carried a hanky coming from a village in England famous for its hankies made especially for brides. One hundred years old, the hanky was a gift from Mrs. Jensen, aunt of the groom. Mrs. Kenneth Kimlel served her sister as matron of honor. She wore a dress of yellow organdy, identical to the bride's and carried a bouquet of lavender fuiji chrysanthemums. A small juliet cap was worn in her hair, holding in place the shoulder length veil. Al Dutzi, Jr., cousin of the groom, was best man with Robert Bruce and Gerald Liekhus acting as ushers. Nuptial soloist was Mrs. Veda Dutzi, aunt of the groom, who chose to sing "The Lord's Prayer," "Ave Maria," "Oh Sacrament Most Holy," "God of Loveliness," and "Lord, I Am Not Worthy." Mrs. Faust was organist for the occasion. Mrs. M. H. Appelman of Buena Park, was in charge of the reception held at the Anaheim Ebell clubhouse following the marriage rites. Assisting her were Miss Phyllis Herman and Miss Charlene Walker. Miss Frances Plou presided at the guest book. The couple are now on a honeymoon along the northern coast and are scheduled to return in approximately two weeks. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Dutzi of 714 N. Zeyn st., and is a graduate of Anaheim Union high school, Fullerton Junior college, and attended the University of California at Santa Barbara. He had received his acceptance to Berkeley for the fall term, but was called into active service and is scheduled to report to Fort Lewis September 6. Wedding plans had to be speeded up to August 17 from the original August 31, because of the call to active duty. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Graham of 615 N. Los Angeles st. She is a graduate of Anaheim Union high school, Fullerton Junior college, where she was president of the Kappa Lambda Sigma, and she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in speech at Santa Barbara State.
