MARRIED MAN
Girl Who Resists His Advances
Generally Gains His Respect
DEAK MISS DIX: Do married men grow tired of their wives and wish to seek companionship with young girls? Or do married men wish to find out just what kind of girl a girl is when they ask her to go out with them? I have had married men ask me for dates. When I refused, they would say: "That's all right. I have a lot of respect for you." If I would consent to go out with a married man, what would he think? When a married man says so a girl: "Darling, you are so sweet, I love you," does he mean it? Has he ceased to love his wife? This matter of married men and girls has got me worried. I am afraid they do not think I am the right kind of a girl or they would not ask me to go out with them.
MILDRED
ANSWER: While there are, thank God, some men in the world who treat girls as they would like some other man to treat their daughters and sisters, the average man has no such scruples and he tries out every girl he meets to see just how far she will let him go. If he finds out that she has high principles and a sense of honor, he respects her, and, unless he is an utter villain he lets her alone and turns his attentions to some lady of easier morals. You need not fear that a man will ever think less of you for temptation. He will put your pedestal.
NO SIGN HE'S TIRED ON
Because a married man to take a girl out and spree with her is no intrigue whatever that he is unmarried, or is tired of her or has fallen in love with her.
He gets a kick out of the bars and grazing in and greener pastures for he likes the novelty of pretty girl sitting across the front him at a restaurant beside him in an stable, a girl who is gay and hearted and who will talk something else besides the butchers' meat and the tooth and Johnny having a new coat, as his wife. And it makes him feel wicked instead of middle-aged to be doing something has a spice of danger in.
The married man's teeth when starting an affair girl, is always to appeal sympathy. He is always unmarried. His wife doesn't stand him. He married to and only now, when he this particular young woman found out what love me and so on and so forth. Little he means what he proved by the fact that he no motion to separate from the wife of whom he is weary. He wife is the one really loves and respects his little flirtation is just ing diversion.
No married man bodes any good, as the old melodious used to say, when he goes out and begins to make her, she gains his respites saves herself a lot of girls she says "no."
