Commencement Exe Program in Greek Theatre Starts at 7 "The World Came West" is the title of the pageant which will feature the commencement exercises of the Fremont school tomorrow evening in the Greek Theatre, City Park, starting at 7 o'clock. Featured in the program will be a group of students who will tell the story of the different dogs which have flown over the Golden State. Music will be provided by the Fremont school band; the Trouvares and triple trio and soloists. The class valedictory will be delivered by Peggy Kohlenberger. It is entitled, "My Diploma." William H. Bonney, principal will present the graduating class and John P. Mary Jr., member of the board of trustees will present the diplomas and certificates. Mel A. Gauer, superintendent of schools will make the awards. Presentation of the American Legion awards will be made by Maj. Charles Schmitt. Ann Betts will give the presentation talk of the class memorial. Moose Calf Left At Seattle Times; Name is 'George' Moose Calf Left At Seattle Times; Name is 'George' SEATTLE (UP)—A flop-eared moose calf, estimated to be about two weeks old, was found on a Seattle Times ramp yesterday afternoon shortly after an unidentified man was seen near the spot. Its legs were trussed and its body was encased in burlap. Attached was a note which read: "George is an orphan through no fault of mine. The people of Seattle need him to grow up in Woodland Park, but it's not convenient for me to go up there and answer a lot of questions." Toastmasters Hear Report of Area Governor Local Toastmasters heard a report from their area governor, Glen E. Welsh of Santa Ana who was honored guest at the club's regular weekly meeting last night at the Mother Colony House. Welsh told of the activity of toastmasters in this area and reported on the effect of toastmastering on both civilian and military personnel. Casto has operated Glenn's quality Meat Market, located in Los Angeles st., store, for the last two and one-half years. His partner in the purchase is Larry Jurries, present operator of the Lemon st., grocery store, 431 S. mon. Grocery and meat departments will be combined in the new estabment which will be known as Northgate Market. The store will feature a complete selection of groceries and meats, in addition to a wide selection of soft meat, ice cream, beer and wines. Store hours for both grocery meat departments are 9 a.m. 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m., to 6 p.m., on Sunday. The store has its own parking for patrons.
