She is the mother of Mrs. Carle, and the grandmother of Becky Sue and Gregory Carle. Anaheim Ikettes, will hold their regular meeting Tuesday, May 16, at 7:30, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Martin, 1440 E. Center st. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Littrel, and daughter Violet May, and Mr. and Miss Barbara Rimpau, Charles Boisey, student university of California at Los Angeles, were Sunday guests home of Miss Rimpau's Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Rimpau W. Broadway. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Littrel, and daughter Violet May, and Mr. and Mrs. Koridek, all of Chicago and Oak Lawn, Illinois, are the house guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Shultz, 118 S. Los Angeles st. Mr. Littrel and Mrs. Koridek, are the brother and sister of Mrs. Shultz. Horace Mann Cub Scout Pack No. 102, will have a committee meeting Tuesday, at 7:30 p.m., at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. David, 511 N. Clementine. Anyone interested in cub scouting is invited to attend. Mrs. Opal Walter, went to Burbank, Friday night, to install the appointive officers of the Seventh District Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She gave a short memorial address at the close of the meeting. She was accompanied by Mrs. Bessie Poetz, Mrs. Esther Eberhardt and Mrs. Martha Russell, of this city. Lois Rebekah Thimble club will meet Tuesday evening, May 16, at the home of Mrs. Mollie Claes, 11602 E. Ball rd. Installation of officers will take place at that time. Dr. and Mrs. F. V. Davison of Danville, Penn., are visiting Dr. and Mrs. John G. Wilcox, 419 E. Sycamore st. They plan to spend a week visiting in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Darrel Dobson, of Oxnard, were week-end guests at the home of Mrs. Dobson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Pierpoint, of N. Placentia ave. Mrs. Dobson is the former Barbara Pierpoint of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Morris, and family, of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, recently visited Mr. Morris' parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Because of the concentrated and intensive work in the course, enrollment is limited. Teachers intending to register are urged to make application early. The summer session reports a wide selection of subjects this year. Available are courses leading to degrees in language, arts, social science, business, natural science, music, psychology and other subjects. The department of natural science will offer a course in marine ecology. Registration will be conducted on June 19. Classes start on June 20. Students at the six-week session may earn a maximum of six semester units.
