High School Players Give "Glamour Boy" Friday Night Culminating weeks of intensive preparation, 22 Anaheim Union high school students will present the play, "Glamour Boy", Friday evening, May 5, on the high school stage. Curfain time is 8 p.m. Miss Louise Hitt is directing the annual junior production. Tickets can be obtained from AHUS juniors for 40 cents. Reservations, at 60 cents can be made at the high school. Play revolves around a shy high school lad who wishes he were a glamour boy but who somehow just isn't. To solve his problem, he constructs an imaginary and highly idealized autobiography which leads to all sorts of complications. Also involved in the plot are a genuine glamour boy, a dream girl, an harrassed principal, a high school editor and a very giddy young lady, some trouble-makers whose main task is to keep things lively, and numerous others. Don Jackson portrays the potential glamour boy. His dream girl is Joyce Shunk. Jack Conklin adds a dash of egotism as a real-life dreamboy and is pursued in a hectic fashion by Jerre Locke who comes on stage as a hero-happy young thing. Trouble-makers are Jim Ball and Margaret Eikholt. As a much-disturbed principal, Kenneth Gross finds help in Shelley Smith. Charles Huff has the happy part of the dream girl's father and local tycoon. Janet Schache portrays a meddlesone miss.
