Eiferts Honored With Aloha Party
Rev. and Mrs. L. E. Eifert were the honor guests today (Thursday) at a pot-luck luncheon given by the Dorcas Society of Zion Lutheran church.
As it is nearing Easter Sunday and Rev. Eifert's farewell sermon before leaving for St. Paul's in Laguna, the theme of the party was in the Hawaiian spirit of "aloha"—'til we meet again. The head table was decorated with tropical arrangements of flowers and side tables had arrangements of leis. Rev. and Mrs. Eifert were each given a lei to wear and the whole atmosphere in the parish hall was very gay.
A table setting for eight in silver inlay was presented to the Eiferts' as a parting remembrance and as a sentimental gesture. When Rev. Eifert first took this church he and Mrs. Eifert were newly-weds and the parishioners presented them with silver to start their housekeeping. Since then there have been three additions to the Eifert family and the silver has seen long and arduous use. A new silver service was needed. Mrs. O. C. Ulrich made the presentation.
Mrs. Willard Wright was program chairman and presented the Mozart singers and the Harmony Kings from AUHS. Mrs. Walter Knigge was chairman of the hostess committee and her committee consisted of Mrs. E. H. Kersten, Mrs. Dora Klausing, Mrs. Henry Kapitzke, Mrs. Jo Lemon, Mrs. Ray Miller, Miss Mary Maass and Miss Martha Lueders.

The bride wore ice blue tulle over taffeta made in a ballet design. Her matching blue sweetheart bonnet had a short veil that fell gracefully over her shoulders.
Mr. Dack escorted his daughter to the altar and was preceded down the aisle by the maid of honor, Miss Anna Mae Pope. She was gowned in pink embossed organza over taffeta, designed similarly to the bride's gown. Her coronet and bouquet were of pink roses and carnations.

Mrs. Dack wore a toast-colored suit with black accessories and pink camellias and the groom's mother wore a black faille suit with black and pink accessories and chose pink camellias for her corsage.
