Start Construction Of New Mosquito Abatement Bldg. Contract for the construction of a new administration building for the Orange County Mosquito Abatement district at its new headquarters location, Haster street and Garden Grove boulevard, at a figure of $35,919.50, will be closely followed by the start of excavating operations at the site next week. Nylin P. Hurd, of Santa Ana, was awarded the contract after the original low bidder, William D. Greschner, withdrew his bid. Four bids were submitted. The contract includes, in addition to the new construction, the moving of three present buildings from the old Santa Ana army air base location, which the district is abandoning. The new administration, L shaped, will cover 2450 square feet of floor space.
