All contestants must enter in the division according to their age at the time of the student auditions.
Selections for the primary group will include the choice of one Bach composition from "The Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach," edited by Germaine Schmitz; "No. 6-Minuet" or "No. 16-Musette," and "First Loss" by Schumann from "Master Series for the Young" edited by Edward Hughes.
Elementary compositions will be Clementi "Sonatina op. 36-No. 3, in C Major," Schirmer Edition, first movement, and "To a Wild Rose" by MacDowell in "Woodland Sketches."
Intermediate music will include "Gavotte and Musette in G Minor" from the "English Suite in G" edited by Schirmer, and "Waltz in A Major." Mary Millerick Returns Here From New York
Mary Millerick returned Tuesday to the Mary Millerick style shop, East Center street, after her bi-annual buying trip to New York and a brief rest at her home, 520 South West street.
Lunching with her Tuesday noon was Miss Beatrice Scraper who will spend several months here as a guest at Miss Millerick's residence.
Accompaning Miss Millerick to New York was Mrs. Roy Rosebrook, long-time associate at the Millerick shop. The two ladies left Saturday, November 5, for the eastern metropolis on the Santa Fe Chief streamliner and returned here last week.
While in the eastern metropolis they stayed at the Plaza and purchased exclusive ensembles for Christmas and spring.
On their agenda were press banquets and previews featuring latest creations by leading designers, among them Nettie Rosenstein, Ben Reig and Anthony Blotta.
Beautiful imports from Italy are now displayed at the Mary Millerick shop.

Book Reviewer
At Library
Enlightening resumes of current books were presented by Mrs. Mary Greer Scarborough, reviewer from Los Angeles, before a large audience in the upstairs adult department of Anaheim public library Tuesday morning.
Information concerning the content of ten or 12 outstanding books of the month and highlights of the authors' backgrounds and purposes in writing, are presented the fourth Tuesday of each month by the popular reviewer.
Because of the Christmas holiday the next non-admission review here, to which the public is cordially invited, will be featured Tuesday morning, January 24, at 10 o'clock.
Well known throughout the southland, Mrs. Scarborough is the book reviewer for the University Club of Los Angeles and was instrumental in obtaining the services of Bob McReynolds, who appeared here during Book Week with his dog "Sleepy," hero of the children's book "Sleepy to the Rescue."

Sunday from their homes in Springfield, Ohio.
Mrs. Ulrich, who is Mr. Hale's niece, was charming hostess to the visiting couples for a buffet lunch on Sunday. Also present were her husband, "Ozzie" Ulrich, and two children, Mike and Tommy.
The Ohioans spent two days sight-seeing in Los Angeles and Hollywood then returned to the Ulrich residence Tuesday afternoon for another family reunion. They left that evening enroute to Chihuahua, Mexico, with plans for a south-of-the-border tour, before leaving for Ohio.
Mr. Hale is owner of the Springfield Manufacturing Company which produces electric eels, used widely in clearing tree roots from sewer and water pipes.
