John Mary, Delegate To School Meet (Continued from page 1) and to make recommendations to the OC school districts. At this December meeting not less than five or more than 11 members will be nominated from the different districts to serve on the Orange County committee, Gauer said. Employ Inspector Ralph F. Milor was employed by the school board to inspect work on the Horace Mann school for which bids will be opened next Tuesday night at 7:30 o'clock in the Superintendent's office, Fremont Junior high school. Milor is an approved state and school district inspector. The board received an official letter from the State Division of School House Planning approving the proposed Thomas Jefferson school building to be constructed on South street. Work on the site will begin after the board hears from the State Board of Architecture. Clerk Mary reported to the board on his recent attendance at the Trustees' convention in Santa Cruz while Superintendent gave a resume of the Superintendents' convention, held immediately after the Trustees' session in the beach city. Dust a Problem Superintendent Gauer was authorized to determine the most effective dust control treatment to be used on local school grounds. This control poses a steep problem, the board stated, since most of the yards are covered with sand. Protest Saie No action was taken by the board on the question of the proposed sale to an industrial firm of the property just north of the South street school by its owner, Elwood W. Cordes. Henry Walsworth was appointed delegate to a county-wide meeting of the various school districts for the purpose of forming a District Reorganization Committee. This committee will consider the reorganization of the various school districts in Orange county. In other action the high school board approved the purchase of gasoline under the county-wide purchase plan, signed the inter-district attendance agreement and voted to continue the bakery goods contract to Hall's Bakery until the end of the semester. Board members present included: Robert Cawthon, president; J. A. Baker, clerk; Art Shipkey and Henry Walsworth.
