SPORTS Flores Fights Semi-Windup At Hollywood Sal Flores, promising Anaheim middleweight, jumps up another rung on the fistic ladder to success when he moves from the preliminary ranks to the semi-final spot to take on Morrie McFarland at Hollywood Legion stadium Friday. Flores earned the spot by virtue of his KO over Hal Nelson two weeks ago in the same ring. It marked the local boy's return to action after a three-month lay-off. The two middleweights fought to a draw a while back when both were amateurs. It will be their first meeting since turning professional. Headlining the weeks card at the filmland arena is a ten round lightweight contest between Golden Boy Art Aragon and Bolton Ford. Aragon, currently enthroned in the prima donna's chair by the area fistic fans, has run an impressive KO record of 20 in 40 fights. Of these, 12 were put to sleep in the first round. Baron Von Stumme, the bewhiskered gent who arranges the Friday night shindig at the Peroxide Palace has rounded out this week's card with the following four rounds: er and hook.
