These questions propounded by Paul to the Romans are the Golden Text of the Sunday Lesson-Sermon on "Mind" in all branches of The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston. A Scriptural selection from the Psalms reads, "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sittteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mary Baker Eddy says, "When man is governed by God, the ever-present Mind who understands all things, man knows that with God all things are possible." A knowledge of the Science of being develops the latent abilities and possibilities of man. It extends the atmosphere of thought, giving mortals access to broader and higher realms."
