College Entrance Exams at Santa Ana JC Saturday
The third and last of the series of college entrance examinations for students in Orange county before the opening of school will be given Saturday, August 20, at 8:15 a.m., in room A-2 at Santa Ana College.
These standard college entrance examinations include the English placement (subject "A") and are administered by Mrs. Bess Taylor of the Orange county office of superintendent of schools as part of the counselling service being offered to all students by Santa Ana College. Results of scores from these tests are made available to any educational institution.
All materials for the examination are furnished and candidates should allow at least three hours for completion. Based upon the large number of inquiries received this week and the fact that the 48 students who took the examination last May represented the largest single group to take the English and scholastic aptitude examinations in recent years, officials anticipate a large turnout this Saturday.
Pre-registration figures indicate a 35 percent gain in early registration over last year at Santa Ana College. All students who wish to avail themselves of the counseling services offered at Santa Ana College may make an appointment through the registrar's office by phoning KI 2-7226.
